from Ankara, Turkey,
is the guitarist and lead singer of the band.
He studied guitar in Ankara and Vienna
and has so far lent his expressive voice to various oriental folk bands
such as Cifteteli, Pasaport a.o.
Alp is responsible for
the oriental-Levantine repertoire of Nim Sofyan but also explores
the musical traditions of the Balkans and the rest of Europe.

from Waidhofen/Thaya, Austria, has gained renown
for his lyrical and swingy style on the violin in innovative folk bands
such as Smoky Finish.
He, like Pedro Duarte, was first influenced by Celtic music.
Nowadays Paul explores the music of South-eastern Europe and Asia Minor with untiring ambition.

Roland Mach from Vienna, Austria,
studied jazz in Vienna at the
Vienna Conservatory and at the Gustav Mahler Conservatory and has intensively explored the world of flamenco music.
Numerous performances in Austria and abroad with artists such as
Martin Kelner, Antonis Vounelakos, Konrad Schrenk, Silvio Berger, Gerhard Reiter a.o.
He grounds Nim Sofyan's melodious flights with solid funky spells.

Born in Aflenz Kurort/Steiermark, living and playing in Graz and Vienna. He worked with Peter Herbolzheimer (European Masterclass Big Band), HGM Jazz Orkestar Zagreb, Millions Of Dreads, Son Of The Velvet Rat, Opernhaus Graz, Schauspielhaus Graz u.v.a.
